So here at our school, our students cannot search for templates in Office products from the Search for online templates box that is in the programs. If I turn off our proxy, then it works. I have tried to find what websites I need to allow on our filter to make it so it works and I can’t seem to find any information on that. Does anyone have any experience with this? Just as a point of reference, we use a Smoothwall for our filter. Found the fix, this was caused by the tick being in Automatically detect settings under IE Lan settings, even though proxy was ticked also.

Sorry, been busy with other things. I did find a list of all the possible hosts that it could be connecting to. When I get a moment I plan on testing that, so should have some more information on it. I would suggest whitelisting the whole office. That’s done for both office. They appear to be using https as well. Funny enough, the smoothwall logs don’t show anything. It’s as if the fact there is a proxy set on the machine is blocking it totally. I have dropped everything I can find into our authentication exceptions to make sure it doesn’t get blocked.
